Decoration of three bedrooms
Three bedrooms stripped, repaired where necessary, some plastering and re papering, and painting. The team arrived when scheduled, were unobtrusive, hardworking and efficient. There was no noise from the rooms, no radios or disturbance and afterwards the house was probably cleaner than before they started! Any problems along the way were discussed and resolved with us. Very satisfied with the service.
Fabia Turner, Twickenham
Handyman Service
We were struggling to find anyone who was competent in attaching fixtures and fittings to our newly tiled bathroom walls, largely because the thick porcelain floor tiles we had chosen proved challenging for the workman we had encountered. Many cracked tiles later, we finally found handyman Darius from Colour and Craft, and he put us at ease straight away. He was confident from the outset that he could do the job effectively, and he also had the correct equipment to do so.
He attached a new toilet roll holder, a large mirror, towel hooks and a towel shelf to the tiled walls without any problems at all, finishing the job to a very high standard and within the timescale he had set. Darius was punctual and worked efficiently and professionally without any fuss. He also cleaned up after himself when the work was complete. He was friendly and very helpful, making suggestions as to the best positions for the bathroom fixtures, and he even helped out with an extra task that needed doing. I would definitely employ Darius again in the future for any handyman tasks.

Colour and Craft took on the huge task of updating and transforming our Sunflower nursery in St Margaret's this summer. They worked throughout the holidays with enthusiasm , dedication and care, working with and around our carpet, electrical and alarm contractors, to re-plaster and decorate the whole school on time and to the high standard we expect for our schools. This is the latest job done by Colour and Craft at our three schools in Kew and St Margaret's. and I am always pleased to recommend them.

Jules Pointon, Cole Parker Associates Chartered Surveyors
A central Twickenham buy-to -let flat was badly burnt out due to an overloaded wiring circuit catching fire. Further to the insurance company agreeing to pay for the remedial building works to the flat Cole Park Associates tendered the agreed remedial works to several local construction companies.
Colour and Craft Ltd, further to negotiation, were the most competitive and further to agreement with the client, commenced works. The project included smoke damage strip out, re-plastering, first and second fix joinery, replacement windows, plumbing and heating modifications and a full re–wire to the electrical installation. Thereafter the flat was fully redecorated.
The works were well managed by Victoria and her team with the works finishing on time and to budget. The minimal amount of snagging were rectified promptly enabling the client to relet to unit quickly and further for a higher rent …
Cole Park Associates would recommend Colour & Craft Ltd to other local landlords and also local residents as they offer a good professional service, have pride in their work and offer good value for money.

Colour & Craft recently undertook a refurb for me at Curves Hampton/Teddington. They were professional, tidy, kepy to time, very accommodating, and very friendly and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend these guys. I didn't want to close the business at all during the refurb so they worked nights and weekends to get it all done, which my members also appreciated and were impressed by."

I would like to thank your company - and say how amazing/versatile Darek is. He completed all the requests and said that he would return to spray the front porch door which he filled in and also improve the finish of white to make it blend in more. This meant that we did not have to replace the door!
Laura Watkinson, Twickenham

John Learoyd, Edward John Creative
Colour and Craft, Decorators or Artists? I have worked alongside Colour and Craft on a number of their projects and mine, and as a craftsman I can appreciate that it's the small details that turn a good job into a fantastic one. Colour and Craft's attention to detail is second to none. This is very apparent when you look at the cutting in lines of their work, most impressive. This is why I would not hesitate to recommend and will continue to use Colour and Craft. I look forward to working with them again in the future as they are true artisans of their profession.
Iain Parsons, Twickenham

Matt Francis, The Prestige Flooring Company, Cobham
Matt called us in to bring some colour to the walls of a new build in CobhamWe recently commissioned Colour Craft to help paint and decorate a new property and wewere completely blown away by their level of professionalism and craftsmanship. Not only were they extremely reliable and punctual, but they were very efficient too. We have used many decorators in the past but none achieved the same quality of workmanship and quite often took a lot longer to complete the work, hence costing a lot more money. The Colour & Craft team members were very skilled and knowledgeable about every part of their work, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to carry out decorating work. I will certainly be sending my friends and family to them in the future. Many thanks for a job well done! Kind regards
Frieda De Ley, Chartered Occupational Psychologist; Dip. Performance Coaching
Frieda asked us to redecorate the exterior of her beautiful family home in Chiswick We must be one of the luckiest people in Chiswick. We managed to ask Colour & Craft to re-paint the exterior of our house during the only 10 days of dry weather this summer, hourah! Lucky with the weather, but also lucky with your team and their craftsmanship. Always polite, always helpful, excellent final results - and with an extra thrown in graciously that had been misunderstood at the onset; we couldn't ask for more. We will not hesitate to recommend Colour & Craft for painting and decorating work in the West London area, as it shows that you truly care. Thank you and best regards
Ashley and Cathy Winston, Ealing
Looking to have a refresh of their flat for new tenants, Ashley and Cathy called us in to rejig the space and get their place in tip top condition for the rental market We would like to thank you very much for the way you handled the redecoration of our flat recently. After eight years of two people and one Terrapin living in there, it is safe to say that our flat really was starting to look a little shabby. And then after we cleared all our furniture out when we moved home you could really tell what hideous state it was in. No-one was ever going to rent such a tip! But within a couple of days it had been completely transformed! The home office has been converted back into a bedroom. The mould that has appeared as a result of the huge amount of water that evaporates for the Terrapin's aquarium is gone. Every surface looks like new. Surprise, surprise a couple of days after you finished your work we rented out the flat! Quality, speed and value for money - you have it all. Thank you!
MrN York Head Teacher and Proprietor, Kew
This lovely boys’ school in Kew was in need of some refurbishment and redecoration work. We were happy to work around school times to get the job done and Mr York, the Head, was very pleased with the results. During the past year Claudio Maggio of Colour and Craft has undertaken two major projects for Broomfield House School. Both projects were completed on time, within budget and were of a high standard. The snagging list was short and dealt with promptly. I am happy to recommend Mr Maggio to you. Yours faithfully
Denise Bosque, Twickenham
We sourced some specialist eco paint for this lovely lounge redecoration project on Twickenham Green. When we decided to finally get our lounge decorated and contacted Colour & Craft, we did so, mainly because of your reputation as a very good, reliable and dependable firm of decorators. We were a bit fussy as we wanted low emission paint and sent several emails back and forward, but no one moaned at us and we were quite happy to go and purchase it ourselves, however, there was another thing; we'd just had a very expensive, arty, radiator installed by GLOW MAINTENANCE, and it was going to prove very tricky to paint behind it. We needn't have worried as Darius was reaIly helpful and brought a very special tiny roller to get behind it and it was fine. He did a really lovely job and told us to caIl him if we noticed anything that wasn't to our liking. I was also impressed by his sensitivity, when I explained I am a Hypnotherapist and had a client which I couldn't change, he immediately said that he would turn the radio down and be very quiet, which indeed, he was. It's was so lovely to have someone like that working in your house and whom you completely trust. I was out of the house most of the time and was very happy to return and discover Darius had completely tidied up after himself. So thank you once again Victoria and I will be very happy to recommend Colour &Craft anytime. Best wishes

Janet B

Chris Brecht, Twickenham
Here we sorted out a fresh new look for a newly wed couple at their period property in Twickenham I moved in to my current house nearly 6 years ago. I needed some rooms to be painted and decorated, as well as one or two little snags to be sorted out, which I discovered after moving in. Within a week of moving in you had organised a team to undertake the painting and decorating. The workmanship was excellent and the men working at the house were cordial, polite and extremely helpful. I was married just over a year ago and my wife suggested we repaint some of the rooms. I painted a large proportion of the house, but I wondered if she could identify my workmanship as opposed to that of the team from Colour & Craft. I am sorry to say she identified every single room I had painted as opposed to the much better workmanship of those rooms you had painted. We invited you to repaint parts of our house for a second time and I was even more delighted with the workmanship. The person you tasked with painting our house undertook the work to the higheststandard, quietly getting on with the job and making the whole experience a great one. In the past I have had people help me with the D-I-Y jobs I need doing around the house. I have not always been happy with the work or the attitude of those doing the work, but in the case of yourcompany I have always been delighted with both. I would have no hesitation in recommending you.We are looking to move to a new home and very recently Claudio went beyond the call of duty by coming to visit a property with us, so he could give us an indication of the cost of the work we required undertaking on the property. Another indication of the great service you offer your clientele. Always friendly, undertaking work to the highest standard and going that little bit further than required. A big thank you for all you have done for us. With my kindest regards
Robin Curtis, Windmill Residential, Ealing
We had to overcome some tricky access to get this external staircase renovated at a development in Chiswick but the residents were delighted with the results. I just wanted to thank-you for the latest job you completed for our residents' association. The task was to repaint a large 3-storey Cast Iron staircase in the development where I live. It was no mean feat as the staircase dates from the 1830's and required a specialized cherry picker to access all the nooks and crannies. Having won the 3-way pitch to carry out the job, you had the additional task of dealing with the Chairman of our residents' association, a cantankerous and very particular gentleman who certainly made sure we got our monies' worth! As always, the work was carried out to an exceptionally high standard, using high quality materials and even the Chairman couldn't find fault with the finished job Keep up the good work! Kind Regards
Doreen S
The work force are hard-working and thorough and completed their task very efficiently from start to finish leaving the site in a very clean and tidy state. I will certainly use them again.
Graham Molyneux, Chiswick
Here we were tasked to transform the exterior of Graham’s beautiful home in time for the big wow when he returned from holiday. Thank you so much for the painting and decorating that you recently carried out for me. Having left you in charge whilst I was away for three weeks might have been a risk but you and your team did everything with great care and attention to detail. Whilst putting paint on a wall might not be too difficult it is the preparation that is the most difficult part. Two independent friends spoke most highly of the time and care you took in preparing all the surfaces and in one instance I know you re-skinned a surface so that it would look perfect. The overall effect is wonderful. I will certainly recommend you and Colour & Craft to anyone who needs painting and decoration to a very high standard rather than at very high prices
Laurance Bridot
They were very professional, really effective and customer service oriented.
Susan Farmer
They did excellent work and were so happy doing it. Charming and helpful doing little extras that were not in the estimate.
Robin Curtis, Windmill Residential
Robin has kindly engaged us to work on a number of properties in his portfolio, here we completed some external work on a converted pub I just wanted to thank-you publicly for the 2 major jobs you have done for us recently. From the moment you tum up on your little comedy moped, I know I'm in safe hands. Your quotes are clear and detailed and the work is carried out to a very high standard throughout. I was particularly impressed on the last job you did for us, external redecorations on our converted pub in South Ealing. Even after the work had been completed and we'd paid your invoice, you contacted me to say that there were a couple of areas you weren't personally happy with and that you'd be sending the guys back for an extra day to deal with these issues. This is certainly the sort of behavior that will result in further contracts from us and introductions to our own network of property owners. Keep up the good work! Kind Regards
Mark and Claire E
Gus was a fantastic worker. He was always working with a smile and his attention to detail across a number of jobs was exemplary. We highly recommend Gus and Colour and Craft Ltd.
Carlos Sibick
Thank you the tremendous job you did decorating the outside of our house recently. You have transformed our home, from looking like just another tired terraced house, to one which really stands-out. It now looks shiny and new. The work carried out was completed on time and in accordance with the original quote, despite our having to move dates around and some less than favourable weather conditions. The arrangements made by Colour & Craft, to accommodate our needs without disruption, were first class. The team were friendly, hard working and very tidy. I was impressed with the quality of service and workmanship. In fact this is the second time we have used Colour & Craft after having been so impressed the first time. We are thoroughly delighted and would recommend Colour & Craft to anyone who cares to listen.
