Get in the mood for summer
I always think May is such a gorgeous month with sunshine, blossom and the arrival of summer. Yesterday, I wandered round the local open gardens and found the natural colour pallets on display inspiring, from rich red peonies, soft lilacs to pretty blue forget-me-nots.
When you’re out and about take inspiration from what you’re doing. If your shopping for this season's wardrobe perhaps? Consider the fresh new colours and prints – maybe it’s time to give your home a new look too?
For instantly refreshing a room paint has an instant impact. You don’t just have to limit yourself to the walls there are paints for all kinds of surfaces these days. How about trying floor paint perhaps? Be brave and play with colour.
Once the paint has dried, pop a bottle in the fridge to chill and invite your friends round to celebrate the arrival of summer and show off your new look home.
